WEBER STATE WILDCAT HOCKEY
The Weber State Wildcats are a Division 1 collegiate hockey program competing as an independent team in the American Collegiate Hockey Association. In the four years the team has been a Division 1 program, it has earned a top 10 ranking by the ACHA coaches poll and has received an invitation to the ACHA Tournament. The team plays out of the Weber Ice Sheet, a $6 million, 1,500-seat hockey arena located on the campus of Weber State University where the team enjoys access to its own equipment storage facility and in-house skate sharpening and repair. Travel to away games is provided by airplanes or school charter buses.
The Wildcats play a competitive schedule each season, featuring over 30 games against opponents such as the University of Oklahoma, the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Penn State University, Minot State University, Arizona State University, North Dakota State University, the University of Central Oklahoma, among others. In addition, four Weber State players were chosen to the Team USA University Select Team in the 2005 World University Games in Innsbruck, Austria, where they helped Team USA to its highest finish in the tournament in recent years.

ACADEMICS AT WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY
Located in Ogden, Utah, just 40 minutes north of Salt Lake City, Weber State University is well-known as one of the premier public, undergraduate universities in the state.
